TRS hosts

-- Meeting called to order 10:34 a.m.

-- The Copper Sticker meeting should be coming to your club soon. TRS already had theirs and learned a lot of information about the plan.

-- FOS update, make sure to get the trails that we've inventoried in so they can put them on the maps and we will have them for use in the future.

-- Went over FAST'R race, they received permit and invoice. They will be implementing a new pay structure for future events.

-- All clubs excluding FAST'R need to send Vance (new points and scoring administrator) active member list by November 20th so he can figure out worker/club points by the banquet. Protests on scoring deadline is November 20th as well.

-- Since everything is electronic, and not everyone is connected to the internet, when you register at a race if you give us a self-addressed stamped envelope we will mail you a printout of the race results.

-- Discussed move-ups...clubs need to encourage their members who should move up to do it voluntarily, if not the Competition Committee will get involved.

-- FAST'R still needs volunteers for their race. If you are interested in helping please let Geoff know ASAP.

-- AMA meeting highlights from Don Hood.

-- Voted to combine 60+ B and 60+ C class into one, named the 60+ class. They will ride the C course.

-- Discussed tracking a finish better, we need to have someone at the finish line writing down all the racers that took the checker to make sure it's fair.

-- AMRA Awards Banquet is slated for Sunday, December 17th. Races around 2:00 p.m., dinner at 5:00 p.m., awards after that.

-- Voted to amend rule regarding women racing the C course. The Women’s B and 50+ classes typically run the C course but specific length is at the discretion of the majority of the class, or the club running the event.

-- Discussed survey results.

-- Rock Stars MC would like to put on two events in 2007. Discussed amending rule in Section 17 d. Tabled issue until next meeting.

-- Voted on a schedule of events for 2007.

-- Voted in Don Shields as Treasurer.

-- Decided on next meeting date, time and location. Sunday, December 10th at 9:00 a.m. in the East Valley. Rock Stars MC hosts.
