Race Entry Info:

Step 1: Purchase your AMRA Membership and request a number. If you have purchased your 2012 AMRA membership or are an RMEC member skip to Step 2

You will receive a response regarding your number request within 24-48 hours and then you will have all the information required to pre-register
You will not receive AMRA series points if you do not sign up for your AMRA membership

Waiver / Entry Forms:

AMA Minor Waiver Option A: Per-Event Waiver
All riders under the age of 18 MUST either have BOTH parents present to sign a per-event waiver OR complete the AMA annual waiver process in order to race an AMRA event.

Note:
* must be printed in color and double sided (no stapled together pages)
* must be signed by both parents
* needed for everyone under 18

Getting started: Racing with AMRA
**Download this new rider info sheet for reference**

Step 1: Basic Overview

Reference the AMRA Competition Rulebook to get a sense for the various formats, classes and rules of competition
In addition, you may attend one of our New Rider Open House days where AMRA representatives help explain this info to you and give you an idea of what to expect on race day
Our online Riders Forum is another great resource where racers and AMRA representatives can meet and interact

Step 2: Determine Class and Division

Determine which class and division best suits your ability and racing preference
If you are unsure which class to run or if you are new to racing you can sign up in the Sportsman class and you can move up a class when ready

Step 3: AMRA Membership and bike number request

Step 4: Purchase AMRA Transponder

New transponders required for 2012 season. Transponders from the 2011 season will NOT work with the new system.
Bring your receipt to the race to pick up your transponder at registration

Step 5: Purchase AMA Membership (Big Bikes Only)

Purchase an AMA Membership ($49) from the AMA
AMRA big bike events are AMA sanctioned events and as such require an AMA Membership

Step 6: Minor waiver (for riders under age of 18)

All riders under the age of 18 MUST submit a minor waiver to AMRA per the instructions in the Waiver/Entry Forms section at the bottom of this page before they can race an AMRA event

Step 7: Pre-enter a race online

View the AMRA season schedule and pre-enter online for a race

Step 8: Race day!

Show up to the race site early to get signed in, to run your bike through tech inspection and to ask any other last minute questions
Sign in can be overwhelming your first time through, but most everyone is helpful and were in your place at some point so don't be afraid to ask questions. We're here to help!
