AMRA Championship Points: Complete Your Race Work Requirement at Round 7

Nee to work a race for your championship points?

If you’re racing for year-end AMRA championship points and still need to complete your race work requirement, Round 7 is an opportunity to get it done.

The Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association requires racers to work a race to be eligible for their year-end championship points. With the season moving along, now is the time to make sure you have taken care of that requirement.

Round 7 is Oct. 3-4 in Flagstaff, Arizona, and racers who still need to work a race can contact Ben Trapp to get signed up.

AMRA Championship Points and the Race Work Requirement

A lot goes into chasing an AMRA championship. You prep the bike, travel across Arizona, line up round after round and earn every point on the course. The race work requirement is another important part of completing your season.

It also gives racers a chance to see what goes into an AMRA event from the other side.

AMRA races rely on the clubs, race directors, officials and volunteers who put in the hours necessary to make each round happen. Working a race gives competitors an opportunity to contribute to the same series they race in all season.

More importantly, if you are competing for AMRA championship points, this is a requirement you do not want to leave until the end of the year.
