AMRA Championship Points Reminder

How to Qualify for AMRA Championship Points This Season

If you're racing in AMRA and working toward AMRA championship points, it’s essential to understand all eligibility requirements, including the 50% race participation rule and club membership deadline.

🏁 AMRA Championship Points Requirements

To qualify for AMRA championship points, riders must:

  • Be a member of an AMRA-affiliated club by May 31st

  • Work at least one race during the season

  • Race at least 50% of the series

Pro and Mini racers are excluded from these requirements.

🏍️ Join One of 9 AMRA Clubs

Joining a club connects you directly to the AMRA community and ensures you meet eligibility requirements.

🔑 Understanding the 50% Rule

To remain eligible for AMRA championship points, riders must compete in at least half of the races in the series.

This ensures:

  • Fair competition across all divisions

  • Consistent participation

  • Strong and accurate championship standings

Planning your race schedule early is the best way to stay eligible.

🤝 Why You Must Work a Race

AMRA is a volunteer-powered series, and every event depends on riders stepping up.

Working one race helps support:

  • Scoring

  • Course setup and teardown

  • Registration and tech

  • Race-day operations

Without volunteers, races don’t happen.

📣 Final Reminder

To qualify for AMRA championship points, make sure you:

✔ Join a club by May 31st
