Every race in the Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association (AMRA) Championship Series takes an enormous amount of work behind the scenes. From trail marking and course setup to registration, scoring, and cleanup, these events don’t just happen. They rely on dedicated volunteers who make race day possible.
As a reminder, if you want to race in the AMRA Championship Series and earn your year-end award, you must volunteer at least one race during the season.
This requirement keeps our association strong and ensures the Championship Series continues to thrive year after year.
That’s Where YOU Come In - Volunteer
Volunteering isn’t just about lending a hand, it’s about being part of the racing family, making friends, and ensuring our sport continues to grow in Arizona. When everyone pitches in, the races run smoother, the clubs stay strong, and the entire AMRA community benefits.
How You Can Get Involved
There are several ways to meet your AMRA Championship Series volunteer requirement and give back to the community:
Join an AMRA club: Get involved in planning, race-day logistics, and supporting your fellow riders.
Course crew: Assist with trail marking, setup, and teardown before and after the race.
Front line: Help with rider check-in, registration, and scoring on race day.
If you’re racing with AMRA in the 2026 season, it’s best to join a club early, ideally by January 2026. Not sure which club is right for you? Check out our club information on the AMRA website or meet the clubs in person at the Year-End Banquet on December 13.
Not planning to race this year? You can still be part of the AMRA family by joining a club or signing up as part of our volunteer community. Every role matters, whether you’re on the course, behind the table, or helping organize the event.
Keep Arizona Racing Strong
When you volunteer, you’re not just working a race—you’re investing in the future of Arizona off-road racing. Behind every great race is a great racer, a great club, and a great volunteer.
