AMRA LiveLaps Round 3: How Registration, Transponders & Live Results Will Work

Round 3 marks a major milestone for Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association as we launch LiveLaps scoring for the first time.

The AMRA LiveLaps Round 3 event introduces real-time scoring technology designed to improve accuracy, visibility, and racer experience. While this is a high-turnout, co-sanctioned race in a remote location with limited connectivity, our team has prepared extensively to ensure a smooth rollout.

Here’s exactly what you need to know.

Why AMRA Is Launching LiveLaps

LiveLaps gives racers:

• More transparent scoring

• Access to live results (when connectivity allows)

• Improved accuracy and verification

• A more modern race-day experience

This transition represents AMRA’s ongoing commitment to improving race operations while protecting the competitive integrity of our events.

Registration: Enter Early for Best Results

For AMRA LiveLaps Round 3, registration is completed online — even on race day.

On-site registration functions as a help desk with laptops available, but racers are strongly encouraged to register in advance.

Entering early means:

• Better starting position

• Faster check-in

• Reduced race-day bottlenecks

If you experience issues prior to race day, contact scoring@amraracing.com so they can be resolved ahead of time.

Transponders: What to Expect

At AMRA LiveLaps Round 3, transponders will be issued in the Tech line.

• RMEC racers: your existing LiveLaps transponder will work

• Need one? Bring $10

• AMRA members: your transponder is already allocated

Important:Place your LiveLaps transponder on your visor before arriving at Tech. MotoTally transponders may remain in place — simply position them next to each other.

Tech & Verification Process

After completing Tech inspection:

1. Receive your Enduro Number Plate

2. Proceed to verification

3. Have your transponder scanned

Take a moment to confirm your information is correct. Address discrepancies immediately to avoid scoring delays.

Live Results & Connectivity Expectations

If connectivity allows, live results for AMRA LiveLaps Round 3 will be available:

• In the AMRA LiveLaps App

• Displayed at a central on-site location

Due to limited cellular service in some areas, occasional delays may occur. Backup scoring systems are in place to ensure final results are accurate.

All scoring discrepancies must be reported during the official protest period following the race.
