šŸ AMRA Racer Spotlight: Rising Stars of the Series - Dash Moltz

ree

At AMRA, we’re not just about fast laps and finish lines, we’re about family, heart, and the future of off-road racing. This season, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on some of our youngest competitors who are already making big moves. In this edition, meet 9-year-old Dash Moltz, a fearless mini racer who just leveled up mid-season into the 65cc class and is already making waves. His story is proof that passion knows no age limit.

Mini Racer Profile: Dash Moltz – Charging into the 65cc Class

Dash Moltz is a name you’ll want to remember in the AMRA mini ranks. At just 9 years old, Dash recently moved up mid-season to the 10-11 year old 65cc class, and he’s already proving that determination and heart matter just as much as age.

Dash’s Story, In His Own Words:

ā€œMy name is Dash, and I’m 9 years old. I’ve been riding dirt bikes since I was 7 years old, starting on a Honda CRF 50. I fell in love with the sport and went fast right away! I started racing off-road in 2023. I now compete in every AMRA race I can!ā€

Dash’s passion for racing is clear: ā€œRacing makes me feel strong and proud, especially after finishing a challenging course. I love the adventure and pushing myself to new limits.ā€

First Time on a 65cc

ā€œOne of my most memorable races so far was this year in Page, AZ. It was my first time on a 65cc. It pushed me outside my comfort zone and taught me that I can finish strong, even when it’s tough!ā€

Race Day Routine

ā€œBefore a race, I take care of my health and mind. I try to get in as much seat time as possible and focus on turning nerves into positive energy. I always say this mantra before a race at the starting line:

ā€œSmooth. Fast. Focus.ā€

Inspiration and Heroes

Dash looks up to some of the best in the business: ā€œI really look up to Billy Bolt and Max Gerston. Their riding styles inspire me. I watch them ride and try to learn from them. I hope to one day race just like that.ā€

Gratitude and Support

Dash is quick to thank those who help him chase his dreams and credits the following:

ā€œMy brother, Rigby, for being my best friend, always supporting and encouraging me.ā€

ā€œMy dad, for always fixing the parts I break and supporting me.ā€

ā€œMy mom, for cheering me on and always bringing snacks.ā€

ā€œMax Gerston, for taking the time to coach me.ā€

ā€œAMRA, for putting on amazing races and keeping the adventures in life alive. Thank you for supporting young riders like me!ā€

The Road Ahead

With his move to the 65cc class, Dash is ready for more challenges and adventures. His combination of skill, spirit, and support makes him one to watch as he continues to grow in the AMRA family.
