AMRA Treasurer 2027: Help Lead the AMRA Community

The Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association is looking for a new Treasurer for the 2027 season.

After serving as AMRA Treasurer for the past two years, Marshall Gerston will officially step down from the position at the end of 2026. We want to thank Marshall for the time, work and commitment he has given to AMRA and our off-road racing community.

His departure also means AMRA has an important position to fill.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2027 Executive Board elections, and AMRA is encouraging members who want to become more involved in the organization to consider joining the leadership team.

AMRA Treasurer 2027 Position Must Be Filled

Unlike the other Executive Board positions currently open for election, AMRA will need a new Treasurer for 2027.

The Treasurer is responsible for managing AMRA finances, preparing budgets and financial reports, and helping ensure the organization follows its financial policies.

It is an important behind-the-scenes role that directly supports AMRA’s ability to operate the racing series and serve its members.

For someone who already knows and cares about the AMRA community, becoming the AMRA Treasurer 2027 is an opportunity to contribute in a completely different way.

You don’t have to be the person lining up at the starting gate every weekend to make a difference. AMRA depends on volunteers throughout the organization, from our local clubs and race crews to the people helping lead the association.

Other AMRA Executive Board Positions Are Open

AMRA is also accepting applications for three additional Executive Board positions for 2027:

• President

• Vice President

• Secretary

The current officers may continue serving in these positions if no other candidates apply, but the election process is open to members interested in getting involved and bringing their experience and ideas to AMRA.

If you’ve ever had an idea about how AMRA could improve, wanted to understand more about what happens behind the scenes or simply wanted to give something back to the community, serving in a leadership position is one way to do it.

AMRA has always been powered by volunteers. The race series happens because people are willing to contribute their time, knowledge and experience to keep off-road motorcycle racing moving forward.

How to Apply for an AMRA Leadership Position

Applications for the 2027 Executive Board are due Oct. 28, 2026.

Voting will take place Nov. 19, 2026, during the AMRA Competition Committee Meeting. Newly elected board members will transition into their positions during December in preparation for the 2027 season.
