AMRA Board & Officer Positions Open for 2026! The Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association (AMRA) is calling on passionate members to step up and lead!
Applications for the 2026 Executive Board and Officer positions are open now through October 29, 2025.
This is your opportunity to contribute to the growth, direction, and success of Arizona’s premier off-road racing community.

Serving on the AMRA Board or as an Officer is a rewarding way to give back to the sport you love — providing leadership, organization, and energy that keeps our race series running strong year after year.
🗳️ Executive Board Positions Open for Election
PresidentOversees AMRA’s day-to-day operations, works closely with clubs and committees to ensure a successful race series, and serves as the principal executive officer of the organization.(Currently held by Phil Carlin)
Vice PresidentSupports the President, ensures effective communication between clubs and AMRA officials, and assists with series growth and coordination.(Currently held by Cindy Lowerre)
SecretaryMaintains official records, schedules meetings, manages communications, and oversees voting processes.(Currently held by Rustin Russo)
TreasurerManages AMRA finances, prepares budgets and reports, and ensures compliance with financial policies.(Currently held by Marshall Gerston)

Big Bike Steward – We Need You!
The Big Bike Steward plays a vital role in the AMRA series — overseeing event officiating, managing the rider database and series standings, coordinating race results with clubs, and ensuring consistency across all events.
This important position is currently held by Nick Fisher, who has done an outstanding job.Nick will be stepping down at the end of the 2026 race season, and we’re seeking someone ready to learn from him throughout 2026 before taking over in 2027.
Commitment: 2 years (1 training year + 1 active year)

Scoring Assistant – $200 Per Race Weekend
We’re also looking for a Scoring Assistant to help keep race days running smoothly!You’ll work alongside the Scoring Officer to set up, run, and pack up scoring equipment, ensuring results are accurate and delivered on time.
What You’ll Do:
Help with scoring setup, timing, and tear-down at each event
Support and organize club scoring volunteers
Work with the Scoring Expert, Big Bike Steward, and Mini Bike Steward to ensure accurate results
Assist with registration and verify rider entries and numbers
Manage scoring equipment and supplies
Upload and verify race results
Troubleshoot equipment or data issues during events
Help train volunteers and improve processes
What We’re Looking For:
Basic computer skills (Moto-Tally experience is a bonus)
Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Friendly and team-oriented
Available for all AMRA race weekends (View Race Schedule)
Willing to learn and pitch in wherever needed
