Camp Wood Enduro Recap: Another Big Weekend for AMRA Racing

The Camp Wood Enduro, Round 5 of the 2026 AMRA Racing Series, delivered another epic weekend, strong turnout, an incredible course, and the kind of racing that keeps riders fired up all season long.

Held April 25–26 in Prescott, Arizona and co-sanctioned with RMEC (Rocky Mountain Enduro Circuit), Camp Wood brought out nearly 300 racers across big bikes and minis, creating a high-energy weekend from the first rider out to the final check.

Big Turnout. Big Energy. Real Racing.

The Camp Wood Enduro brought true enduro racing, timed test sections connected by transfer sections, giving riders a chance to reset before lining up for the next section.

Weather Added to the Challenge

Cool temperatures in the mid-40s set the tone for the weekend, with some rain and hail moving through on Sunday.

A solid rain Saturday night set up excellent dirt conditions for the mini racers on Sunday, but also meant the race crew had to put in extra work re-marking parts of the course.

ATR Delivered One of the Best Courses of the Season

The future of Arizona Dirt Bike racing

As Camp Wood race director and AMRA Treasurer, Marshall Gerston pointed out in the riders' meeting, the future of racing depends on our racing community stepping up.

AMRA clubs and AMRA itself need YOU to help keep our series going and strong.

Please reach out to a club or AMRA directly to volunteer and help keep this sport moving forward.

Important AMRA Championship Points Reminder

If you’re chasing championship points this season, this matters:

All AMRA members must belong to an AMRA club to be eligible for year-end championship points.

Clubs are the backbone of AMRA racing—they’re the ones building courses, working events, and making weekends like Camp Wood possible. Being part of a club isn’t just a requirement—it’s how we keep this series strong.

Racers are also required to complete race work, helping support the events we all enjoy.

👉 If you haven’t joined a club yet, now is the time. https://www.amraracing.com/clubs

Don’t miss out on your points, get signed up and be part of what keeps AMRA racing going strong.
