Trail Riders of Southern Arizona – AMRA Club Highlight

The Trail Riders of Southern Arizona (TRS) is a cornerstone of off-road motorcycle culture in Southern Arizona. Founded in 2004, TRS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting safe and responsible off-highway motorcycle recreation through both action and education.

As a founding member of the Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association (AMRA) and a chartered club with the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), TRS plays a vital role in competitive racing, rider education, and land stewardship. They work closely with local, state, and national OHV organizations to ensure that off-road enthusiasts can enjoy Arizona’s trails now and in the future.

What TRS Offers Its Members

TRS is more than just a racing club, it’s a vibrant community. Activities include:

  • Signature Events: Hosting the long-running San Manuel Copper Classic and the There Will Be Dust Dual Sport Ride & Food Bank Fundraiser.

  • AMRA Racing: Active participation in the Arizona State Championship Racing Series.

  • Trail Advocacy: Leading projects like the Red Spring Single Track Trail in the Coronado National Forest.

  • Partnerships: Recognized OHV partner with the Coronado National Forest and participants in the Arizona State Parks & Trails OHV Grants Program.

  • Community Rides: Group rides for all skill levels throughout the week.

With monthly meetings and numerous opportunities to ride, volunteer, and give back, TRS is an essential hub for off-road riders in Southern Arizona.
