AMRA Membership & Participation Requirements

AMRA Membership & LiveLaps Transition Guide (2026 Season)

​

IMPORTANT: AMRA is switching from MotoTally to LiveLaps beginning with the 2026 season.
All racers — adults and minors — must create a LiveLaps Participant Account before registering for AMRA membership or selecting a race number.

2026 Membership Dates

December 1 – AMRA Membership Opens (Reserved Numbers Window)

• For the first two weeks (until December 14), racers should only select the same number and letter they raced with last year.

• If someone accidentally selects your number, AMRA will override it to ensure last year’s holder keeps their number.

• Starting in future seasons, this will be automated in LiveLaps.

 

December 14 – Open Number Selection

• After Dec 14, numbers are no longer reserved.

• Racers may choose any available number based on class and what LiveLaps still shows as open.

• LiveLaps automatically filters out unavailable numbers.

 

How to Create Your LiveLaps Account (Required Before Membership)

Before purchasing an AMRA Membership, all racers must have a LiveLaps Participant Account.

If you’ve raced an event previously using LiveLaps:

✔ You already have an account — use the same login.

​

If you are new to LiveLaps:

1. Go to LiveLaps.com

2. Click “Create Account”

3. Enter your AMA number, emergency contact, and basic info

This account stores your racer profile, speeds up race-day check-in, and is required for membership and event entry.

How to Register for Your AMRA Membership (2026 Season)

Once your LiveLaps account is created:

1. Log in to LiveLaps

2. Select “MEMBERSHIP REGISTRATION”

3. Search for AMRA – Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association

4. Select the "RIDER'S NAME"

5. Choose the correct CLASS

6. Choose from the AVAILABLE NUMBERS listed

7. Complete checkout via PayPal

8. Review & sign the AMRA Membership Waiver

9. Receive your instant Membership Passport + email confirmation

10. Your membership card will appear under “Your Memberships” in your LiveLaps profile

Important:

If you try to enter a race without an active AMRA membership, LiveLaps will automatically redirect you to get one.

Minor Racer Registration (Under 18)

1. Parents must create a LiveLaps account, even if the parent does not race.

2. Under the parent’s account, click “ADD RACER” to add the minor to their profile.

3. Follow the standard membership steps, selecting the minor’s name when registering.

4. The parent will sign the AMRA Minor Membership Waiver.

AMA Minor Waivers Are Still Required

AMRA requirements do NOT replace AMA rules.
Minors must still complete:

• AMA Annual Minor Release Form

• AMA Event Minor Release (signed by both parents or legal guardian)

AMA Membership Requirements (No Change)

All racers must hold an AMA membership or day pass:

• AMA Big Bike Membership: $49/year

• AMA Youth Membership (11 & under): $29/year

• AMA Day Pass: $25

AMRA Membership Fees

• AMRA Yearly Membership - Big Bike: $40

• AMRA Yearly Membership - Minis: $35

• AMRA Day Pass: $20

• LiveLaps Transponder: $10 (included in Membership if you Register before Round 2)

• Temporary Numbers: $10

Race Requirements (Same as Previous Seasons)

The AMRA Big Bike Series and Mini Bike Series are AMA-sanctioned. All riders must have:

✔ AMA Membership or AMA Day Pass
✔ AMRA Membership or AMRA Day Pass
✔ All riders must follow AMA and AMRA rules

AMRA + AMA rules determine safety, scoring, classes, and points.

Select the correct class based on age, skill level, and machine.

3. Get Your AMA Membership

Required for every AMA-sanctioned race.

4. Get Your AMRA Membership in LiveLaps

This assigns your number and activates your ability to race.

5. Submit Minor Waiver (If Under 18)

Both AMA and AMRA waivers are mandatory.

6. Pre-Enter Online

Save time and money by registering early.

7. Race Day Checklist

Bring ID, AMA/AMRA proof, waivers, AMA minor forms, and cash.
Sign in → Tech inspection → Riders meeting → Race!
